What are your office hours?
Radiology West is open Mondays – Fridays from 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. We are closed on Sundays and on public holidays.

What if I am unable to keep my appointment?
Please call us at least (3 hours in advance) to advise us at 952-9626 or 579-9510. We will be happy to assist you in rescheduling your appointment.
What information do I need to bring with me for my appointment?
Please bring your referral form and your health insurance card (if you have one), along with payment.

Blood works (Bun and Creatinine) are required for all CT and IVP procedures.

When can I receive the results of my exam?
Results for most studies are generally ready 24 hours following the procedure, however some study’s results may take longer. If there is an urgent case, we will attempt to expedite the process and produce the results within the same day, if possible.

How can I request a copy of my films or images?
Please call or visit our office to request your copy, after which you will be advised of the relevant fee. The first copy of your report and other prints or picture CD are complimentary.

How much will I have to pay if I have an insurance card?
Insurance plans range in coverage. The amount you will pay depends on your Insurance provider and other specific details regarding your insurance plan.

This will be determined when your card is swiped (on the day of your examination). Some plans cover 100% of the procedure cost while others cover lower percentages.

Is there any procedure that is not covered by an insurance card?
Insurance plans usually do not cover obstetric ultrasounds, hysterosonograms, hysterosalpingograms (HSG), or routine chest x-rays for Medicals.

Please note: In the interest of patient and staff safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, we will accommodate patients with certain symptoms (for example cough, shortness of breath, runny nose, sore throat, fever etc) only at our GWEST location. Please contact any of our offices for more information.
